About the Psychologist

Zingaphi Zazini is a registered Counselling Psychologist originally from Queenstown in the Eastern Cape, with experience across educational, community, forensic, and private practice settings. She has worked extensively with children, adolescents, families, and adults, supporting individuals through emotional, behavioural, relational, and psychological difficulties.

Her professional background includes work in schools, community organisations, correctional services, and private practice. She has provided individual and group therapy, family counselling, psycho‑educational and psychometric assessments, school readiness assessments, and therapeutic interventions aimed at improving emotional and personal functioning.

Zingaphi has also held a senior psychologist role within the Department of Correctional Services, where she was responsible for the supervision of community service psychologists. Her work is informed by a strong ethical foundation, sensitivity to context, and a belief in clients’ capacity for growth and healing.

Therapeutic Approach

Zingaphi’s approach is collaborative, client‑centred, and grounded in evidence‑based psychological practice. Therapy is viewed as a space for reflection, understanding, and empowerment.
